Q: How do I get into the main draw?
A: It depends on who enters and varies each year. U.S. players: We have 20 spots available and use the USTA National Standing list closest to the closing date. International players: The selection committee looks at your country’s order of merit and international rankings to make their selections.

Q: What surface will I play on?
A: Boys 12 play on clay courts. Boys 14, Girls 12, and Girls 14 play on hard courts.

Q: If I’m an international player, do I need to be endorsed?
A: Yes, you need to be on the order of merit from your country’s federation.

Q: What tennis balls will we be playing with?
A: For Boys 12: Wilson U.S. Open Clay. For Boys 14, Girls 12, and Girls 14: Wilson U.S. Open Extra Duty.

Q: Do you have doubles?
A: No.

Q: Is check-in mandatory?
A: Yes.

Q: What do we need to bring to registration?
A: Either your USTA card or a picture ID like a passport.

Q: What is your refund policy?
A: There will be no refunds after November 15. Before November 15, you will be refunded $75.

Q: When are selections released?
A: On November 17.
