Junior Orange Bowl Hosts JV Basketball Classic

Boys Junior Varsity Basketball teams from across Miami-Dade County will gather on Friday and Saturday, February 3 -4, at the Miami Springs Recreation Center to compete in the 2012 Junior Orange Bowl JV Basketball Classic.

Junior Orange Bowl Accepting Entries for Photography Contest

The Junior Orange Bowl Committee (JOBC) is now accepting entries for the Pitman Photo Supply Photography Contest. Students in grades 6-12 are welcome to submit up to two entries in each of the four contest categories; “Zoo Miami”, “Moon Over Miami: Night Photography”, “Patterns in Our World”, and “Black & White”.

In a testing morning breeze Korea’s Hyo Joo Kim took command of the Girls Division, adding a 1-under par 70 to an opening 68. Her 4-under par total at the halfway stage was good for a five stroke over France’s Celine Boutier and Canadian Brooke Henderson.
